Just came across this wonderful name for a composer: Carl Ditters Von Dittersdorf (1739 - 1799). Must surely trump Englebert Humperdinck (1854 - 1921) as the strangest name.

Any other amusing names?

Speaking of Drinkwater, I actually know a man of that name, first name Ian, who honestly does sign his name ‘I Drinkwater’.

I love how the names Kris Akabusi and Kerry Katona roll off the tongue.

I really don't think it'll make much difference whether you're represented by the biedermeier composer of Hansli und Gretli or by the fop that took his name. Either way it's going to be ridiculous.

Not that our entry is any better, mind...

Latittia Randatsio. Her parents home was bombed (true story) something about Sicilian reprisals. Who knew. She was a fun friend whose father was...well Brandoish I guess in retrospect.
