I've been wondering how many of us have national grades. I'm about 1600 (Welsh Chess Union and Briitish Chess Federation
equivalent).

By playing in club matches or other events recognised by a national body. The point of my question is that the top players here
are around 1600 Redhotpawn but I think they would be higher than that in national grades. Bessyboo has said somewhere
that she is 1800 Scottish.

I think I said I was a Scottish Terrier actually. My rating was once a bit
shy of 1800 once upon a time. It is now somewhat closer to 1600
thanks to years of knocking over pieces by wagging my tail too much.
That, and an inability to concentrate for longer than 30 minutes at a
time. That's why I'm a lot better at correspondence chess....

Maybe this thread has a 21 year timeout time.

Subscriptions are annually charged to your account. When he first subscribed, the price was probably so incredibly cheap, he hasn't noticed it being withdrawn from his account over the years.

From what I understand, early in the Site's existence a lifetime subscription was available at a nominal price.

Xe is one of the original pawnstars, as you can see because of the lack of wings at the side of the star. http://www.timeforchess.com/board/showthread.php?threadid=72320#post_1369551
