My respect for the dead is not declining, and I feel sorry for his family and fans. However, the majority of today's "wrestlers" do nothing but bash chairs over each other's heads and grunt like apes. It may be an amusing genre of television, but it still is pretty much pointless.

Dude he used like heroin, cocaine, and crack for something like twelve years. It was a matter of time.
Supposedly hes been clean for 4 years and now he dies. Could be worse, Jerry Garcia abused drugs and alcohol for 30 years. He checked into rehab and died 3 weeks later.

There all a bunch of morons. They should all die....right along with all the Jerry Springer tralior trash.
Mokko he was from my hometown of El Paso, TX and I personally knew him. He was a good father and husband and while he may have been doing something that you personally didn't enjoy watching I don't think wishing him to die along with the other wrestlers is a nice thing to say. He used to involved in a lot of organizations here helping young kids to stay off the streets and not joining gangs.

Well it's very easy to say about somebody you never met outside of acting like a moron on TV. I'm sure he had many people who loved him.

I however was not one of them. Sorry.

Moron!? you don't know Latino heat baby! May his soul rest with god. I was glad to watch him. He was an excellent showman. What he did he did very well. Maybe wrestling was not for you. I grew up in Minneapolis Minnesota, When I was a kid we would go over to the channel 11 TV station and watch all the greats! The Crusher, Barron V, Maddog Vachon, Jessy the body, the hulk, jerry blackwell, the high flyers, etc. etc.

These guy could creat soo much loathing and disgust from an audience that it was incredible. When I was a kid these guy's were COOL! and when the show was done they would talk to you.

PS

Maybe Dr. Phil is more yer speed sweetheart.

No wrestling is not my idea of high class entertainment. Neither is Dr. Phil.

High Class? High Class? You maka me laugh! Wrestling is about drinking beer and yelling at the "Hero". It is jus plain and simple white trash entertainment. If you look really close at the characters on the WWE you will see that most of the characters will resemble anoying things in society and the world. We had the sheiks during the Bush senior years as an example, it has had the white boys acting as if they are black (scotty too hotty). If you look really close mcmahon is a genious at giving people what they want.

The whole thing is scripted. The pain is real. Its basically a soap opera for the more masculine type, allthough women are a large part of the fan base. This is mostly on account of the muscles. Most men don't care for daytime soaps. Wrestling gives them basically the same thing but with fighting and insults.
I like that comparison. I've always considered wrestling soap opera for men. Find it sad that vince would actually be on talking about how eddie will be missed. The guy was 36 years old and died of a heart attack most likely cause by all the steroids him and alot of wwe stars inject themselves with. This wont be the last death unfortunately and there have been others aside from owen hart (he died doing some stupid entrance without any safety net) who died like eddie in a hoitel room from a heart attack.
