just done a bit of research and it does look like zonealarm are having a lot of problems with their vista firewall, so best to stay clear for now.
Good news, is if you are behind a router then this and windows firewall on vista working together should be all the protection you need regarding firewalls.

It's a bu66er. Best bet - don't install it. Refuse to buy any PC which comes with it 'FREE! PRE-INSTALLED! WORTH $150!'

Next option - fdisk. (To stave off the panic merchants out there - DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.)

The same goes for Mc-a-large-fee, unfortunately.

AVG. Spybot. Maybe Adware. Maybe SuperAntiSpyware. All free. All work.

If they don't stop it, look at your lifestyle. And maybe buy the PCTools package. It requires less $$ and A LOT less horsepower.

The reason I got rid of Norton, was not merely because it was 'crap', but because it was trial software, I am trying to get solid, indefinite protection for my laptop, free of charge. 😉
