You are all burned out.

Dr adramforall recommends you take a 6 month sabbatical.

I'm starting to feel a little fatigued too. Been thinking of cutting back some. I keep trying. I keep sinking in deeper. I can slow down any time. It's not that bad.

Some quiet rest miles away from the people who post on this threat, especially no 2 post.

Well, Stees, for your infomation I've tried getting back into the corporate swim and have expressed flexibility/availability for a full or part time

job. What I seem to get a lot is the 'polite no'... Bobby, you can probably do it (competence); you'll probably stick (high coefficient of loyalty);

you're probably still promotable but (based upon our RHP reference checking) you won't fit within our culture even though you're a team player.

Incorporate, get a "good" accountant and lawyer and the rest is.....well a piece of cake.

You do have "something" to offer (a skill, profession etc)?

Well, I'm quite good at being non-vexatious and non-polarizing and non-opinionated and non-threatening. Only shortcoming seems to be age.

Thanks, Andy, and I appreciate your words of encouragement knowing you're aware of the background. Complications, however, would weigh more...

Wonder if you've noticed I took your advice before it was given over a month ago. Reduced my gameload. Moving slowly. Still messing up though.

"... keep sinking in deeper." Why is the competitive/social contact so powerful? Does familiarity breed endorsement or is it an umbilical cord?
