Familiarity breeds contempt...

Take a break. Come back when you start to miss it.
Good advice, Raven. Only one little update you should be aware of... tried that last night and came back, ashamed of myself, this morning.

Of course... but don't you see I was reaching for possible spin-off insight possibilities beyond the obvious? Contempt = cynical, which I'm not.

Wonder if you've noticed I took your advice before it was given over a month ago. Reduced my gameload. Moving slowly. Still messing up though.
oh right, you did. I sort of noticed you took more time, but at the same exact moment my mind randomly blanked.

Any helpful advice you would give to a lad with symptoms of fatigue (after 12,158 moves, 665 days, 394 games and a few dozen threads/posts on RHP)?

If you are cracking now, how are you going to cope when eternity kicks in?

Even you are clever enough to know everything has a price.

You could try offering your skills to people who need it, those other people were not actually your friends.

Only partially appreciate your real life weekly schedule, many faceted pressures and responsibilities, Worm... but gather they're considerable.

Hi, Woodgie... (1) Not "cracking" in the least. Just pausing to swap common experience thoughts and to reflect openly upon them with a few

cyberspace friends. (2) Thanks for your generous spirit in deigning to be so inclusive. (3) "Offering" to whom? (4) "not actually your friends"?

Still care about you and what you think. Please reply.

I thought you were smarter than that.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.😉

You misread. There's no 'problem'. Just a little situation which is a source of stimulation and joy and a jealous mistress making increasing demands.

Only because the sad resignation of your mind now processes all the world perceived with your two eyeballs through a negative lense.

I think you're the sad one, Bobby.. and, in spite of your megalomania, you're not the whole world. Just a flyspeck.

What happened to your sense of humor? 😠
