Any Suggestions?

There's a stray little headache of a homeless black dog loitering about our neighborhood,

which seems to insist on following grampy around whenever he goes out no matter where

he happens to go. I've suggested not being quite so generous with the 'Lil Doggie Treats'.

Any practical suggestions you may have would be much appreciated and most welcome.

Thank you,

Call the humane society. Hopefully they will find the dog an owner.

Take him home and call him precious. And he can be yours, and he can be your precious.

As this is a lame attack on another forum user, i advise a large spoon of novacaine, stirred into a pint bottle of meths. Drink it yourself, and see how many thread ideas come from it's effects.

i had a similar problem a few weeks back. a little black dog followed me home, i put him in the garden and called the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) they came and collected him and will now try to re-home him. do you not have something similar in the U.S.

you're sounding stressed again, Bobby. since 'black dog' is a euphemism for depression, i recommend increased dosages of lithium and prozac, a nice cup of tea, and a good long stand up in bed.

edit: maybe you should also try to wash the odour of spam and fetid self-importance off your person.

Undoubtedly the dog senses that Grampy needs a friend.

This is sheer fate, trotting in at just the right moment.

Advise Grampy to adopt the dog.. and to welcome with open arms this new purpose in his humdrum life.

My best friend is my cat.
Does this make me pathetic?

(Rhetorical question)

You can't teach an old dog new tricks nor grand ma how to suck eggs. Maybe you can teach a new dog how to suck Grampy's eggs?

No, but it could make you catastrophic.
