Jim, please post on topic . Topic of this conversation is a "stray little headache of a homeless black dog"... not insects.

I hate spiders. They are so creepy.

Go on...take the little black dog home. He clearly likes you.

and those with 8 legs....

anyway

referring to the dog, keep it - dogs are just awesome 🙂 or see if there is a dog shelter nearby (as another user mentioned earlier in the thread - the only post that seemed to be a serious reply 😛)

Timely reminder from Nurse Ratched, just in case AThousandYoung didn't get the memo:

Any Suggestions?

There's a stray little headache of a homeless black dog loitering about our neighborhood,

which seems to insist on following grampy around whenever he goes out no matter where

he happens to go. I've suggested not being quite so generous with the 'Lil Doggie Treats'.

Any practical suggestions you may have would be much appreciated and most welcome.

Thank you,

Sorry Mr Bob, but I'm perfectly entitled to post what I like in the forum, as long as it fits in with T's and C's. I'm not abusing anyone, I'm not being nasty, and I certainly don't have an agenda, as you do. So whatever dude. If you don't like what I post, then don't blooming read it. I try not to read your s***.

If you don't want him to follow you around, sprinkle a trail of black pepper behind you. Dog sniffs and gets the message and the pepper does not hurt the dog.
If you are a straight up masochist with absolutely no conscience, you can drop a few chocolate bars behind you. Dog never follows you (or anyone else) again.

Jimslyp69, there's no way you could have been aware of the third party frame

of reference or of the circumstantial foil role your post played. Please forgive.

playing the slimy politician again, Bob? you quite often employ this technique of greasing up to critics in an attempt to neutralise them, i see.

did you read this bit: "I try not to read your s***"?

Normative conversational behaviour, even now and then, might have antidoted the 'diminished response

to a constant stimulus syndrome'. Minority rests. Jury is still out. Sandbox Court now stands adjourned.
