Ahh, 8th grade math. Mr. Benson. He told us lots of stories about his various jobs, and he hated silence apparently because during tests he would kick the trash can just to make noise. He'd also throw erasers at people. He was great fun, but I have no idea how he determined I was ready for high school algebra at the end of the year; I don't remember actually learning much math.
