You've got the right engine type for it, but you need to check if the injectors match.

The site says you should contact the company if you're unsure about it matching your car - contact the company...

Perhaps a better question is why would you want to do this?

There's the feel good thing, where you tell yourself that you aren't burning as much petroleum, but have you really looked into the actual costs. Everything that I'm hearing is that even with the massive govt subsidies to the ethanol industry, it still isn't economical to make the switch. And most of the estimates I've heard indicate that it takes more petroleum to produce the ethanol than if you just burned petroleum in the first place--so you really don't end up reducing consumption. If anything you make the situation worse. Furthermore you promote the increase in global food prices and deforestation of rain forests to make additional farmland. Are you sure this is such a great idea?

I am sure there must be some deposits stored even deeper in the earths crust - after all, its not like we have dug that deep yet.

Don't you want to add something from http://ballsforcars.com on your list to buy for your car?

Ok, I don't know enough about this to say for sure, but are you really sure
they use petrol to produce ethanol fuel?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethanol_fuel

Never mind that. I got my answer here:

Ethanol can be mass-produced by fermentation of sugar or by hydration of ethylene (ethene CH2=CH2) from petroleum and other sources. Current interest in ethanol mainly lies in bio-ethanol, produced from the starch or sugar in a wide variety of crops, but there has been considerable debate about how useful bio-ethanol will be in replacing fossil fuels in vehicles.

In the US, I believe the ethanol mostly comes from corn. The corn is farmed using tractors/combines that burn diesel fuel, to till, plant, fertilize, spray and harvest the corn (okay the spraying and fertilizing might be done with airplanes, but again they'd be burning a petroleum based fuel. Presumably the transportation and distillation processes also require energy, often coming from more petroleum.

The story might be different in other countries, where the gov't isn't massively interfering with the free markets to prop up a huge agri-business/lobby. My understanding is that the process of refining sugar cane/beets might be more efficient. But again you'd still have the problems of driving up food costs and needing more land.

mmmhhh, you don't leave a lot of options, huck... so... er... uh... let me think... let's try this one:

Hey, huck, why don't you test your can on wheels driving exactly the same way Thelma & Louise did at the end of their lesbo movie?

Like it? Like it?

What is your gas mileage?

What is the cost of E85 compared to what you use?

I would actually NOT recommend that you modify your car in this way, Huck.
Your fuel efficiency will go down so even though you are paying less per gallon, you will be using more fuel.
Plus you could really dork up your car...I just would not do it if I were you.
