I got a jar of honey, about 2 liters, and it solidifies all the time.
Anyone got an idea of how to be able to store honey without it
crystalizing? I heated it in the microwave once but the container ended up looking like a plastic hunchback of Norte Dame, a bit warped.

Boil some water... almost... and put the bottle in the warmed water?

If you store it in a cool place it will typically not crystalize as fast. The basement maybe?

Try for under 50 degrees F or 10 degrees C. Crystalization usually starts at about 55 F or 13 C.

I keep bees. Honey always crystalises after a certain amount of time. The best way to keep honey runny put it in a hot or warm place.. ie next to the boiler, near a heater or radiator etc.

This works, but make sure you remove the lid first. And take it off the burner once the water's gotten hot.

I used to work for a honey company here in town.
The processed cooked homogenized honey is crap.
It doesnt crystalise as easy as the more natural product does.
I always look for the real deal and I like the raw clover honey best.

What do you use it for? For most purposes, it doesn't have to be liquid.

Well it comes in sqeeze bottles over here lots of times, and even with the squeeze top taken off, the mouth of the container is too narrow, and or the container too deep to make spooning it out easy.

Hmm, a two litre squeeze jar?

(I have seen those squeeze bottles, I even bought one myself in Germany once. I don't think I have ever seen them here. Most honey you can buy here is not liquid.)

If you read carefully, I also made mention to the container being too deep to make spooning it out easy.

Sorry you don't have liquid honey there. One of my favorite uses for it is squeezing out thin ribbons of it onto peanutbutter toast.

You buy them in cakes? like margarine? I have seen it like that
before, but isn't it mixed with something like butter or processed
differantly?

Yes, but that was still referring to containers with a squeeze top. I would expect a 2 litre jar to have a wide opening, but of course I may be wrong.

😲😲😲 That sounds absolutely disgusting.
