You must find four seperate 5 letter words.
You have 9 guesses to get all four.
Your guess word is entered in all four tables at the same time.
Color coded clues are the same as for wordle.

The answer is given, and you have to work out the calculation that they used to get that number. Clue color codes are about the same as wordle, but they also include three levels of difficulty so you can do each of the three every day, I think.
(There are several calculations that can give you the answer, but you have to use the clues to find the one they used. Plus each of your guesses must give the correct answer.)

Three tries to guess the fourth letter and it turned out to be the one I didn't guess. This is the second time I failed to guess the word.

I went with a different strategy. I use all 6 guesses - so I did not try to guess the word when I was two letters off after the third try (3 letters in the right place - two empty spaces).
For words 4 and 5 I just tried to get more letters. I put in two completely different words with new unchecked letters. I found the missing two letters and then figured out whe ...[text shortened]... ord in less than 6 guesses - not sure.

Self-satisfying performance parameters are up to you. The number of guesses is what you can easily determine now. A timer would be a nice addition as would be a count of the number of distinct letters guessed (Eg 18 of 26).
Wahah! I actually solved a quordle!
Luckily I had tried one of the correct letters in all four wrong positions in the lower-right quadrant, which told me where it must go in the answer. I also had four of the correct letters for that quadrant by row 8. A close call!
