@torunn saidToshiba TV I've had it for well over a decade now nice big 50 inch screen. It is one of those that are set up so you can swivel them from side to side. The stand for it cost more than the TV did. the stand is a dust collector with 3 different levels. When I need a new one may go up to the new 60 inch screen's they have out. Those bigger screens are great for watching sports, the little bit we get now. Great for watching movies too though.
I have a Philips TV (not so good) and a new Samsung telephone, still in the box.

@very-rusty saidI would prefer a larger screen too (mine is 32 or 36 inch), but my compact living doesn't allow it.

@torunn saidI am fortunate to have a large living room. I was going to put a small one in the bedroom, but wife says the bedroom isn't for watching TV....She had a good point so no TV in the bedroom. π

I was originally Apple for both my phone and my laptop. In 2015, I switched to LG phones (G4 I believe), and in 2017 got a Lenovo laptop. Last year, after going through several LGs I got a Samsung Galaxy note 10+. It really is state-of-the-art.
I feel that Apple lost a bit of shine after Jobs' death, and while I was initially a fan I came to find the Apple OS to be a little restrictive and the hardware somewhat underwhelming for the price. So, I have a Korean phone, a Chinese laptop and a Japanese TV (which I don't really use).
@kewpie saidI find Samsung is a good brand doesn't matter what you happen to be getting. Seems to last forever too.
No Apples in our house. Samsung TV, tablets, phones. Windows 10 laptops for the serious stuff. Two Dropbox accounts.
