Well, if it was just a game of skill I'd probably think it was fantastic as I like most sports. Instead it has risen to the point where people get killed or assaulted over the fanaticism which surrounds it. The fan culture that has arise ...[text shortened]... ically it reminds me of all the things I dislike about people.
It happened after a big game but it wasn't perpetrated by the fans who go to every game, just the thugs who are spoiling for a fight at the big (well as big as it gets in N.I.) games.
The real soul of football are these [the ones at every game :edit] fans who love the game: don't blame football for the wankers who sometimes follow it!
Oh err Man U

Arsenal or Man U?
I definitely rather see Man U relegated than Arsenal......
Particularly if Alan Smith or Ferdinand was still in their side.
In fact, it would be soooooooo funny, I think I'd take a trip to the top of the Pennines, look West and have a great big hearty Yorkshire chortle.
Has to be UNITED ! While traveling in a tiny corner of the world,
i.e. bottom corner of AFRICA miles from civilization in the middle of nowhere I came accross this tribe! There leader was wearing a MANCHESTER UNITED shirt, with KEANE on the back.
No chance of seeing an Arsenal shirt there. Mind you up until about 6 years ago you wouldn't find an Arsenal shirt in LONDON Ha Ha.

I always thought that I could express myself reasonably well and then you come along and expose my inadequacies.
Respect.
