did the golie deserve the red card?
of course, it was a clear call.

good thing for the game arsenal got that one goal...

Barcelona had one badly disallowed goal and Arsenal's goal came from a non-existing foul. Arsenal really can't complain about the ref.

when barca scored i was thinking i would have prefered the goal and no red as i presumed that it would be a better game...how wrong i could be!

new keeper is doing fantastic though!

Not if you are a Barcelona fan.

As a neutral, I have to say he seems to be siding more with them.

i thought that at the start (siding with barca)-can't remember why. but i agree. 🙂

i think the first few fouls were given agains arsenel for nothing, and were just quite silly...

Sorry no, I meant with Barcelona. Not badly though, he seems reasonably fair so far.

I'm not saying he is deliberately helping Arsenal but the facts are clear. One poorly disallowed goal for Barcelona and the Arsenal goal comes from a foul that didn't exist.

The facts speak for themselves, I'm neither Spanish or English and so I can fairly say I'm pretty neutral here.

well-that was just the first barca player yellow carded. the goal decision could have gone either way, it was not a poor decision he meerly didn't play advantage. i think he had blown the whistle before the shot had been taken also, and i doubt that he could have revoked a whistle-blowing...

and i didn't see the foul leading to the goal properly so i can't comment upon that...

It was a poor decision to whistle and not play advantage. One decision that cost Barcelona a goal. Either way you look at it, it was an important mistake. I agree that Henry's yellow card was a mistake in favour of Barcelona but that's about it. Where talking two mistakes that cost Barcelona two goals.

Anyway, great game nonetheless. Brilliant first half and ok second half so far.

Campbell looks finished. He can't turn anymore. He'll get destroyed in the World Cup if he gets any games.
