Good match.
The aussies seem to have batting problems and certainly they hung the bat out a bit and batted terrible in the first innings.

I think you have to give Voges and co. till the end of series . Despite australia getting flogged . Surely they can't change anyone.

Nice series though. You couldn't pick the next one, but I would still have the Aussies as favourites. ( the English bowling attack will miss Anderson for the rest of the series)

Eng 2- Aus 1. (2 matches to go)

I wouldn't bet a pound coin on Voges' chances of playing next Thursday

talk over here is they will bring t'other Marsh in , maybe open with him and drop Warner down the order a bit.

we may change Lyth..if they bring in Alex Hales watch out....20/20 specialist!

How the f@#&*&^($@ can a Test side be all out for 80!? Did the Poms reverse-dope them? Anti-EPO? Or did they all have the salmon mousse?

Does any know why England went to Spain for four days a week before first test?
Any logic to this?
for catching practice, for some reason

Definitely Anti-EPO, then. You don't get that c@&&ppy from just some dodgy salmon mousse.

Hi robbie

a bizarre series

let's not count too many chickens yet!!
What ever happened there is difficult to believe, seriously, the Aussies cannot play against a ball that swings. I don't know if its because they are used to bounce, in fact I doubt anyone can explain what has just transpired.

Now that I'ved pulled my draw from the ground all I can say is that the Aussies have a chance of making this series 3-2. Which would be so amazingly good given how immensly poorly they've performed😞

yep ~ Aussies to maybe make it 3-2 in the last Test ?

quite possible, as all English players probably still celebrating!

and no one over here could care less who wins the last Test in a dead rubber

maybe it matters 'down under'!

happy days!

The English press attempted to indirectly blame it on the presence of the Aussie wags who as you know travel with the Australian team. Surely the best psychology after a heavy defeat is to go to ones spouse and be comforted by them, to see ones children and to take perspective. In this regard the Aussies have it completely correct.

If you're the Scottish footie team and have just lost a penalty shoot-out against Luxemburg, perhaps. Tomorrow, after all, you'll only play Andorra.

If you've just been bowled out for 60? No, what you need is a good, old-fashioned bollixing.

going from 5-0 to 3-2 is better than going to 4-1

as I said, it may matter to the Aussies

I suppose it would be nice to win 4 home Tests vs Oz in a series for the first time.

But it is a minor target. The main (and only) aim of the series is already achieved.

Victory.
