Have you suffered from this and if so can you recommend an effective cure?

Gently after showering, peel off the dried dead skin .Then pit on Absorbine Jr.to the affected area.It may hurt like hell ,but it will stop the itchy feeling.Dust your socks with Desinex.
Avoid public pools and showers, those are common places to pick up the fungus.

I offer you a deal: I get your athlete's foot, and you get my heel spur and plantar fasciitis. Okay?

You should urinate on the afflicted area.

Yes, because, I can cure my AF naturally over a slightly longer period but without taking pharmaceutical products which I cannot stand. It's my housemate who is putting his foot down (pardon the pun) as he claims I'm infecting him and he's fed up of me relying on natural remedies which he claims 'clearly don't work'.

If I had the non-contagious plantar fasciitis I could choose my own approach to healing, this time I am having to look for something to appease my fellow rent-payer.

So how do we go about swapping?

I'll take your offer, and I'll throw in a big fat camel toe.

I'll saw my foot off right away and send it to you.

I want to offer my bad back and aching hip for swapping. Anything equal. But I am not interested in tumors, burning wounds or things of humiliating factors. Any takers?

38-39. Oh, and it's the right foot. I don't want to end up with two left feet.
