14 times World Champion, I think.

Let's face it, he has a case.
Either way you cut it he does.....

Ppl often say Tiger is the greatest sportmans ever because of what he won in his given sport.

However compare what Taylor has won in his against Tiger in golf and I think you will find Taylor's record is better.

The Power for sports personality and the greatest sportsman ever ;-)

This is a no brainer.

Here are my nominations for UK sports personality of the year:

1. Paul Robinson
2. Gary Neville
3. Rio Ferdinand
4. John Terry
5. Ashley Cole
6. David Beckham
7. Steven Gerard
8. Frank Lampard
9. Joe Cole
10.Peter Crouch
11.Wayne Rooney

This set of individuals managed the unfathomable task of taking a rubbish ...[text shortened]... wasn't for some questionable refereeing, who knows how far this unfancied lot might have gone?
We could give it to Simone Perrotta, the only Englishman to win the World Cup since 1966. 😉

If I had a pound I would put it on Colin Montgomerie. The Ryder Cup is the only major sporting contest left before votings starts. (The Ashes will have started but not finished).

I'm sure Zara will do well because her event was on the BBC!

Monty Panasaer and Peter Crouch deserve praise because they have been ridiculed enough.

What are you talking about?

You mean England didn't win the world cup?

SHOCK!

HORROR!

With all the media hype, I thought they scrapped the tournament and handed the cup over to them.

Apparently they were unbeatable!

Oh yes...

'REMEMBER 66'

AND

'WE WAZ ROBBED'

😉

On a side note... If Italy had to play England in the WC final (assuming by some miracle that England actually managed to get that far) who would you support?

Possibly Darren Clarke now.

Not because he won all 3 Ryder cup matches. Not because his wife died recently.

But because he likes a pint and a cigar. Because he has a personaility.

But also he is a sportsman in every sense of the word.

It'll be Darren Clarke.

If not, then Monty Panesar.
