Beating a dead horse?

Beating a dead horse?

I am sure this will be a problem as long as these sites exist.
I have about 20 games going. All the opponents continue to move until they are in a losing position, then vanish.
I would suggest an abandoned game feature, but not sure how viable that is.
Anyway, thats my rant. Thanks for reading

If you can't beat a dead horse maybe you should try flogging it. 😉

I have made the experience that dead horses generally don't move in chess games. You always have to beat them by timing them out.

Beating or flogging; either one knocks all the other pieces off the board too, not just the horses.

It may sound funny but you'd think by now I'd be smiling...

Oooo yeah, I'd be smiling...

I would suggest I could at least get a draw against a dead horse though.

Maybe it's a conspiracy.

I suspect the CIA behind it.

I am in a clan game right now where this guy was playing a lot of
games and we had the same rating, about 1550ish, Now he has
timed out so many games, his rating is down to 1100. So if he
times this one out, I only get one point.

Or if he resurfaces and beats you lose loads of points.

Just let them fall to the bottom of the list, then after a while time them out or just leave them and the player may come back and finish the game. I think you just need to put up with the fact some people don't finish there games, don't get annoyed at them if you time them out and start a new game your rating will improve=you win. If you leave them and they comeback and play=You get what you want you win.

I used to be a bestial, sadistic, necrophile.

Then I realised I was flogging a dead horse.

Flogging should always precede beating, common sense.

This is easy to remedy. Don't play non-subscribers - they have nothing to lose!

Even when you are beating off?
