Of course, Pink. Perfect humanity and undiminished deity in one person forever... the second member

of the co-equal/co-eternal trinity in hypostatic union is the unique person of the universe.

Then why the exception taken to His tears?

Pink, His humanity enjoyed a perfectly normal range of human emotions (righteous indignation bouncing the mafia money changers out

of the temple to tenderness with children to rebuking Mary at the wedding feast to concern for her well being, entrusting her to John's

care before dismissing His spirit on the cross (after accomplishing His substitionary spiritual death to atone for the sins of all mankind

in order to propitiate or satisfy the Father's justice and righteousness, i.e., His Divine Integrity or holiness). Point is His deity didn't weep.

With all those examples given of His emotional character, I've no problem believing the Son of God cried, any more than I have a problem with his sweating blood, ot any other bodily function.

I know there are denominations that say God is spirit only and therefore did noy have "feet, hands, eyes, etc.", but I tend to believe genesis meant it when it sais God walked with Adam, spoke with Noah, etc. Just a difference of opinion.

From previous coversations, Pink, you already know we generally agree. Main thing is

not to become self satisfied or lazy but to keep on learning and growing each day.

correct me if im wrong or does the majority of this conversation belong in a religous forum of some sort ?

edit- complete and total side point, I really really find it annoying when ppl talk of religion like what they say is 100% fact.(ie ppl who write the exact same amount of syllables every stupid line they type) I get that everyone wants to think they know the "truth" and arent humble enough to accept that noone knows it. Especially, E_S_P_E_C_I_A_L_L_Y christians. Not to mention the ones silly enough to believe in a trinity. My apologies to all offended.

Mr Pawnfondler:

In re to your complaint, my reply is: The name Jesus came up in the course of "conversation" on this thread. I will discuss Jesus whenever and wherever He becomes the topic--whether it be here, Science, Debates, a PTA meeting, a Raiders game, a street corner, or anywhere else, if I so desire.

And you have no right to stop me.

silly hippy.
You'll notice I wasn't directing my statements towards you, nor was I trying to stop you. I actually carried on the religous rhetoric. Dont be so easily offended. Especially if you want to discuss religion.
