Actually, wouldnt a lion bite your neck, killing you quickly, whereas you would slowly drown while being torn apart with a shark.

in Chicago years ago. Lion Filet with a Shallot and Grand Marnier reduction was superior to the shark and boar. And didn't taste like chicken.

I have given the matter some thought and decided the shark.
Reason being, the lion would not care if you werent totally dead - just incapacitated- so would eat regardless of your conscious state.
Secondly - they prefer to start at the stomach and work outwards, so it would last a while.
The shark, while having less concern of incapacitating its prey, will tend to rip off very large chunks of flesh with every bite so you would die of blood loss (rumoured to be quite a pleasent death) before he was finished eating.
