i wouldve thought would be the cowboys but the cowboys proved me wrong again. everyone thought they had the defense, plus two decent receivers and a questionable quarterback, but at least he has a name for himself. it seems like they cowboys have a great team but can not turn it into wins or somethin.

Originally posted by Phlabibitdo you think the cowboys could regroup and get in the playoffs? i think sunday was a dissapointment.
Pats are the modern best team, first dynasty since the field has been leveled with a salary cap and free agency. Great coaching, and great team work.
Other than that, I still consider these teams to bea great NFL teams:
Steelers
49rs
Cowboys
Washington
Rams
and
Packers
Oh, I forgot... Da Bears!

Dallas Cowboys. Nothing to debate, except, perhaps, why soccer is also reffered to as "football", when really it isn't anywhere near as good a sport.
So there.

He stands in the pocket like a statue, and can't take his eyes off his intended receiver.
I hope he turns around, he's got a lot of local fans here that still say Brady was a mistake... I don't know why, but some think he's a great QB and I personally have never seen why.
Frankly, I don't think Brady is that great either. I've got a feeling he's just another real good QB without Bill B. On the other hand, if Brady had some top name receivers willing to play the 'team game' of NE they would rule the world.

Surprisingly enough, I'd have ot say the Bengals. I'm a Seahawks fan, but the offensive performance in Detroit was less then impressive (after the lowest total points they had all of the 2005 season was 13, you come to expect more). The Bengals have had a great turnover ratio, last you going into this one. They have the offense and the defense to get the job done.
But, like Phlab said, the Pats are the only modern Dynasty. They didn't start off last year well either, but still managed the playoffs. Unless they're 3-9 after week 13, they always have a chance.
