Yeah, I had seen that page, but I was looking for people's personal favourite recipes. Plus, the recipes on that page add salt. Bleh.

Fair do's!

I like to melt milk chocolate in a pan and pour it over ice-cream. Does that count?

Any I know lots of people put marshmallows into their hot choccy.

But I would say experimentation with alchohol is the way forward; like absinthe or Wray and Nephews, or Polish Pure Spirit. Anything with a +50% ABV!

The ONLY way is this: (did I mention I am actually a chocoholic? Seriously.)

For 2 mugs - Please note you need a closed whisking bowl or food processor
1) take a 150g bar of Galaxy (or Green & Blacks) and melt in a bowl over hot water.
2) Pour this melted chocolate into the whisking bowl and add hot milk bit by bit, stirring with a spoon to ensure good mixing
3) Add 2 or 3 large dollops of extra thick channel islands double cream
4) Add a capful of whisky (just a capfull, too much will ruin it)
5) Put the top on and whisk for 10 seconds or so
6) Pour into mugs and enjoy

yummmmmm 🙂
