This thread was created In retaliation to the "best dog breed" thread.
I was offended when I saw the title, "best dog breeds" and out of my safe zone when I saw it. I'm beginning to feel a little better and empowered to respond to it now, though, thanks for asking.
Are we deep down doggy racists?

You gotta be crazy, you gotta have a real need
You gotta sleep on your toes, and when you're on the street
You gotta be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed
And then moving in silently, down wind and out of sight
You gotta strike when the moment is right without thinking
And after a while, you can work on points for style
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile
You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.....
Worst may be the purebreds, because of inbreeding and the genetic problems that can arise.
Defects include a higher risk of cancer and tumors; eye and heart disease; joint and bone disorders; skin, immune system and neurological diseases; and even epilepsy. There is no need to panic, though. You just need to be aware of the risk of defects in your prospective new purebred human, a risk that is much higher than in a mix-breed human.

Please keep facts off this thread. He's still hopeful of his alt-right dreams materializing one day.

.... Dogs are can be trusted more than many people.
I like your dog breeds thread, Seitse. I thought sure someone would start a cat breed thread in response, but, honestly, cats don't have as much personality as dogs. They have temperament, sure, but that's not quite the same thing as personality. (I suppose that comment will elicit a thumbs down from some cat lover.) No doubt there are exceptional cats, but in general cats do not bond to humans as intensely as dogs do and I think the intense bond to humans is partly why dogs have personalities: in their eagerness to please us, they adopt our ways. Cats don't.
Give a dog food, love, and shelter, and it thinks you're a god; give a cat food, love, and shelter, and it thinks it's a god.
