I watched "Deer Hunter" again and it was awesome. Got me thinking how good those movies were ( back before CGI ) .

My favourite movie is "Brave New World" which hasn't come out yet, and as far as I know, is not being made at all.
What a shame. That would make the best movie if done right.

My fave movie is one that watch most (although it does depend on mood) .

I love "SuperBad" . I still chuckle.
"Fighclub" and the first "Matrix" movie are great because they are relevant to modern day existentialism.
I love all of Scorsese's movies without question.

What?

How could it be your favourite movie if it hasn't been made yet and hasn't come out ?

Mine: An Officer and A Gentleman.

Louis Gossett Jr. is by far the dominating force in this movie, despite Richard Gere being the star.

Awesome movie.
For those who missed it.

Two TV movies have been made of BNW.
I remember the 80's one.
NOT GOOD as the eloquent POTUS would say.

Yeah. my copy must've had a shot on the cover from one of those. I remember thinking 'so lame' .
Lets face it. everything's been done and sequelled ... All these avenger and thor movies. so much budget , so little substance.
The story of BNW is captivating and it could introduce Huxley to a new generation.
the story lends itself to become a great film

Awesome movie.
An Officer and A Gentleman was pretty good. Mine was The Usual Suspects, whatever you may think of Kevin Spacey he was excellent in this wonderful movie.
