Never saw that one but it was the life story of Mozart ?

Did Queen perform in that ?
A fictionalized Mozart story. He comes across as a scatological geek, but the music is, of course, fabulous. I don’t recall now who all performed.

I agree with you on Good/Bad/Ugly, very memorable score.

@MasterAtAnyAge

OH, YES, Chariots and Blade Runner, excellent choices.

The film is very tragic and John Williams made the right music to it.

I have a 10yr old daughter and Im planning to get her involved with watching and appreciating historical movies, however sad they are. This is going to be one of them.

I would say she is too young for this film. And it's not a straight-forward historical movie. There are things she cannot possibly understand and shouldn't. And I don't think you are serious.

Yes, Im serious ... Well maybe I should leave this one for her teens. But there re lots of great historical movies many are sad that kids need to see and understand. I dont believe in protecting kids from the truth about our history.

I agree. Certainly a 14+ movie. And context has to be given before hand (like a project about the holocaust).

Amy and the Wild Geese. Also known as Fly AwY Home. Must see for a 10-yr girl. And the final scene song, 10,000 Miles sung by Mary Chapin Carpenter, chokes me up every time.

Maybe because I love the film, I think the sound track to The Fifth Element is excellent.
Oppenheimer so far so good too that I'm listening to. I haven't seen that film yet.

Did that one already. Im looking specifically at historical dramas, of the epic variety. Most of them are brutal but more truthful than rubbish films like Barbie.
