Well, I will start.
I have never been abroad, but I have been to some wonderful places here in the USA. One of my favorite places is The Greens, a gourmet vegetarian restaurant right on San Francisco Bay. Actually, I don't think I ate at a bad restaurant in San Franciso!

Well that's where I'm from but I never heard of the Greens, probably because I'm not vegetarian 🙂

As a kid, I really like McArthur Park in San Francisco known for their BBQ ribs but I was a kid.

One of my favorite places is Top of the World at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. Best piece of steak I've ever eaten...

The best meal I've ever had in my life was on my 2nd night in Argentina, in a town near the Chilean called Mendoza (famous for red wine). We had heard about the place, Las Tinajas, in Santiago, Chile and it came with a massive recommendation. Well, it basically turned out to be the equivalent of a 5 * all you can eat buffet.

I had half a cow (they cut the steaks big in Argentina), with 5 different types of potato, a chorizo with some more potatoes, lamb, and 2 different chinese dishes. Then I went to the pasta part, and got pasta cooked up fresh with the sauce of my choice, cooked up fresh before my eyes. Then for desert I had a taste of 3 cakes, then a plate of ice cream. Then I went to the creperia part of the restaurant, and got an orange crepe, again, cooked up freshly before my eyes, with cream and some more ice cream.

I could barely walk out of the place. I'm not normally such a pig (that pic in my profile isn't me, in case you're thinking 'no wonder...'😉 ), but we had just come from 3 weeks in Santiago, and to be honest, I struggled with the food in Chile, and seemed to live on hot dogs) The BEST thing was that the whole lot only cost me about €5 including 1 litre of beer.

In escondido california, on the main strip, I forget th3e name of the road is a restaurant called "albertos" no not the chain. The guy who owns it is named alberto. He's an immigrant from central Mexico, and he makes the best carne asade burrito I have ever tried in my life.
