Wow. There's been some crazy weather in the North today. Heard a crash at work and looked out the back. There was the garden shed, reduced to flat pack form again. As a tenant from work and myself attempted to secure the remaining pieces, panes of glass started flying through the air at high speed and smashing next to us. Jesus! I thought I was going to be decapitated.
Finally on the way home from work, a tree had been felled and was lying straight across the main road.
I reckon that this is the worst wind we've had in Britain since the infamous storm of '88.
