Originally posted by Falco LombardiSo you are saying that SC didn't have the talent? The team that won back to back National Championships and played for another one last year?
Michigan has the talent, they just played bad. Happens.
Once again I will reiterate; if one teams plays badly, it is usually because the other team is doing something to make them play badly.
Excuses are like a-holes, everyone has one and they all stink.
Originally posted by Red NightYou were saying? USC crushed Michigan and the Big Ten is assured of a losing record in their bowl games. So where's the "being wrong" part?
Well said. I wonder if number 1 defrauder ever gets tired of being wrong. It would certainly appear not, but sooner or later being wrong dozens of times in a row has got to get to you....no?
Originally posted by Falco LombardiYou still think you can win this one?

I resign when I have no chance of winning, or am down a large amount of material and have no positional compensation. To me, people that never resign are rude.
Originally posted by CliffLandinYou obviously have very little experience with sports.
If you knew a bit more about football, you would know that most of the time that a team plays poorly it is because of what the other team is doing.
Michigan played horribly. USC played well. SC deserved to win. But, your comment that
most of the time that a team plays poorly it is because of what the other team is doing
shows a fundamental lack of understanding of football and sports in general.
Originally posted by Red NightAre you 15 also? Michigan was unable to adjust to what SC was doing on the defensive line. They gave up 5 sacks in the first half not because they were playing badly, but because SC was confusing them.
You obviously have very little experience with sports.

A team can be made to look bad because they cannot stop what the other team is doing.
I have seen more college and pro football games live than you have seen total.
Sometimes a player will have a bad game. Rarely do teams come out flat in Bowl games.
Michigan played horribly because of what SC was doing.
Now it is your turn to go to bed.

Do you really think that a whole team and coaching staff had an off day?
Originally posted by cmsMasterI hate USC, but in the Rose Bowl I always root for the Pac-10 team.
I can't believe anybody defends one conference more than another - ESPECIALLY when they have never attended a school in the conference that they defend.
It's a conference - who gives a crap?
I like Michigan's style, especially their preference for the running game. In fact, the 3-3 penalty free first half was as close to my ideal for a football contest as I've seen in a long time.
The Pac-10 is brutal and USC was suffering many injuries in late November, but today they showed what they can do when they are healthy.
So far the Pac-10 is hurting in their overall bowl scores, but their one close win and two thrashings offer more wins than the Big-10, but fewer than the SEC.
If Ohio State played in either the SEC or the Pac-10, their chances of playing for the title may have been diminished.
Originally posted by CliffLandinThe WAC is underrated because most of the country is asleep by the time they finish their games week after week.
OH MY!!! The hook and lateral!!!! Boise State has given Oklahoma all they can handle and then some.
I'm sure the learned sports geniuses here that were bad mouthing Boise (and the WAC) are learning a few lessons today.

2. Your second statment: Rarely do teams come out flat in Bowl games. just shows your ignorance. Actually, teams often come out flat in bowl games and in the frist half of the Rose Bowl both teams came out somwhat flat. Maybe you were watching cartoons and missed that part?
