Blowing my horn

Yes I am blowing my own horn. Sorry about that but I am now at the highest rating than I have been on this site 1380. Now I am giving a try for 1400s. Look out all you 1400s :~). This site is great. I am on two other sites that I will be leaving as soon as my games are played out.

I, too, am at the highest I have been (1503).
I managed to increase about 200 points (from 1250 to 1450) just by reducing the amount of obvious blunders I made.
Since then it's been up and down around 1450.
So here's to self-proclaimed trumpet-blowers 😀

I think I'm about to descend back into the 1300's again.. ugh. Someday I'll hit the 1500's I guess. But not any time soon, apparently.

Well I'm going up and down in the 800-to-900 area😳, I play better slower, but its more fun for me to play fast🙂

That has been one of my problems moving to fast without seeing the whole board. Oh well, at my age I am still learning.

Sorry about my recent contribution to said bear run...I had a nasty one not long ago, still haven't recovered.

Well, all you 1400 players don't have to worry about me as yet. I am heading back down. Hopefully not to far down. Lost one game I didn't see coming and have two more that I have more than likely lost. But "I'll be back"😳🙄
