Of course he shouldn't be banned.
All he does is stick a barbed comment in every now and again, and he's brief about it too. He just writes what he feels like. Fair enough. He doesn't block any discussion, or shout anyone down.
He contributes positively in being one of the few characters you might consider worth reading here, if only for a laugh, or for the reasons stated above.
He should stay. SJEG has spoken. Democracy works (apart from in France yesterday.... and everywhere else apart from this thread)!

Banning people should be a final action in the fact of real abuse after repeated moderations and warnings.....not merely due to someone getting their knickers in a knot.
With all due respect...it is easy to see who is writing...don't read the items posted by people you know annoy you.
Usually, I whiz right past threads with this title but I am tired of these kinds of threads.....if you can't say something nice...shut up! Good grief, there are oodles of interesting, funny and thoughtful posters and threads here. The reason you are annoyed is due to the choices you make!
Just my opinion....the simple fact of a thread like this tells far more about it's instigator that it does about the targeted person....

But I'm getting too tired of getting some ppl intromised in a friendly thread discussion, calling names to all participants. Name calling and flaming honest people isn't my idea of Freedom of Speach.

I always read the forums. I'm accustomed to find some "disaforated" 🙂 messages too. IMHO *this* is an honest thread, but I think I'm not the right person to judge on it.
Just from an year+ im posting only jokes... 🙂 An uncompromising way to trying to partcipate in the comunity.
Oh well. I'll no vote. But this is my opinion.
Banning an user from the forums is a too hard decision, and I'm in doubt on this particular case.

I helped get a user banned from the forums once. He was a real dandy. His handle was 'Dodger11'. He claims to still be playing on the site though. If you ever cross paths with him, say 'hi' for me. Here's a picture:

You know as crazy as this sounds, I actually support the right of the Ass Clown to post or to do whatever he wants. Because I or many of us don't like this guy, he still has a right to exist and post whatever he wants.
As I have written in the past, Bowmann is a serious a$$hole who thinks he is funny and I am also sure this thread serves as some sort of masturbation for him ("Oooh, people are talking about me. Must mean I am important."😉. So be it. I think he will stop in time but, because this is fun for him and he is popular he won't anytime soon.
Most of you have chosen to take the "higher road" when dealing with his pseudo-intellectual insults and I applaud you all. I haven't and I will knock him every chance I can when he dishes out his crap. If you read pretty much everything he has ever written, he is cowardly and runs away most of the time. I have had fun insulting him in his fashion and will continue to do so until I get bored. I have scared him out of several threads. Laugh if you want Ass Clown, check the score. You know I am right.

I find him repetitive and unfunny, but I could not consider him for banishment. Simply put he has the right to make his comments, and that's his business. We have the right to disagree.
If we ban peope simply because we do not like them, we risk the danger of becoming stagnate and dull ourselves. I really don't expect people to agree with everything I say. I would be dissappointed if you did honestly.
Bottom line : I think he's a twit, but that's his business, not mine.
