Just look at a typical scipio7777777 spam-fest in the debates forum. He's a subscriber. Then contrast that to non-subscriber Bowmann's 60+ recs in a short time period. There are subscribers who do find Bowmann amusing, as they've stated in this and other threads. If he was banned, there would be less entertainment for them. If non-subs are banned, they will just go to other chess sites and forums that are free.
