Box 39 Show 83. BOX 39 INVESTIGATES ONIONS.

Colne Radio's Box 39 investigates how the 100 word short stories are written and then fashioned into the finished 'Onions' for the Colne Radio radio show 'Bill's Big Bag of Onions'. With views of contributors in the Writers' Room, it's a fascinating view of how these unique and original stories are boiled into allegedly award-winning onions for this allegedly award-winning radio programme.

As a contributor to this I can tell everyone that it's well worth a listen to hear the words of the other contributors...And as a crash - course in how to boil an onion, which aside from being a fulfilling experience, contributes in a small way to the sum - total of all human knowledge and experience.

I posted the link on Friday in an OP about this show. The show got a couple of positive reviews but then... got alerted ~ which caused a giggle. But wait... lo and behold, the thread got deleted! Well, anyway, here it is again. The very creative core of this radio programme has its roots deep in this website and this forum.

I did not and would not alert any post or thread relating to this or any other radio show contributed to by members of this community and don't see any reason why it would be removed.

Just so we are clear. The show is excellent and well worth a listen.

Given past posting and accusations I'm going to add that it had nothing to do with me.

I have also never once been responsible for the red thumbs that I have been told are mine and I have demonstrated that by adding a thumb afterwards on numerous occasions. So, time to get in a huddle and review your conspiracy theories chaps.

All creativity should be encouraged. The world needs more of it.

Who does that leave?

The whole forum/community. I noticed Rusty recently got 17 thumbs for one post. Seems more people read and interact than you might imagine.
