If it's "the whole community ", in your telling of it, why is it only 3-4 thumbs? What is your theory? How many thumbs do you need to make your theory work.

The whole forum/community. I noticed Rusty recently got 17 thumbs for one post. Seems more people read and interact than you might imagine.

A lot of posters will get 3 or 4 thumbs down. Some may only get 1 thumb down.

I don't know that it really means anything except people would rather thumb down your post to show you they don't like it than confront that person with words on here.

I got 17 that could have been 18 and I don't know if that had changed since then. trev33 was going to give me a thumbs down if I made 19 which would give me 20. Far as I know he is the only one to do the thumbs up.

I guess one can take what they want from it. To me I been getting thumbs down for so long I hardly even notice unless someone points it out. Of course you can't help noticing when it hits double digits. I believe in this case people were trying to see if I could beat Phlabs old record which I think went up in the 20's. ( I don't believe we have that many posters anymore).

I believe that was started by him saying he rarely got a thumbs down which was correct at the time. I think it was done as more of a joke with him.

I as a rule will get 4-6 anything lower people are trying to ignore it as the 17 down and 1 up does prove people look at posts and of course I am "Very Rusty", which could explain it all! 😛 🙂

Oh yes I just gave fmf one for crying to the mods about a post he had removed that looked like was advertising a site which was obviously removed. Did he put it up again? 🙂

OH fmf, I am willing to take all the credit for alerting the post in the thread even though it was reported by more than one person. 😉 😛
