The level of education had a higher correlation with the voting pattern than any other major demographic measure from the census.
The age of voters was also important, with older electorates more likely to choose Leave.

    Pretty clear, I'd say.

    The BBC? The stats, rather.

    Smiley? Nice, strong argument.

    Point proven, I'd say.

No, you're not. You're the uneducated and aging as per the statistics.

I'll stick to my poop and pee, thanks. They fit very well with my diplomas,
flock of thick hair, and cosmopolitan worldview. Merci.

Just who are the uneducated ?
The working class? .If you look at some working class people like Bricklayers ,carpenters ,plumbers ,electricians ,welders ,etc.
They all have to do further education ,night school ,college for four or five years .
Uneducated ? .Lets take a look at an educated man ..David Cameron, the then prime minister of the UK educated at Eton .
He and his educated cronies made a massive mistake (in their eyes) giving the UK the EU vote to leave /remain .Makes you wonder who is the educated and who isn't ,don't you think ?

Whoa, dude, chill. Why get defensive? It's just what the numbers say:
Leave voters are more likely to be unschooled people who are closer to death.

I'd rather hear your best guess as to why that is.

It sure won't be the Scottish. They peed their kilts with the prospect of being independent of the royal crown.

A wise decision! oil tanked the next day and has been rock bottom ever since the Saudis tried to destabilise the shale market. The alternative is to become a tax dodgers haven like London and Ireland.

Most "young" people didn't bother to vote and yet howled endlessly when the result came in. I've interested in why you think that is.

It's interesting that England and Wales had the courage to democratically push through when the Scottish, despite all the tartan waving, Banockburn chanting, and jingoism...didn't.

Overwhelming parliamentary support in the vote today, to trigger article 50. Democracy wins over fearmongering and rampant globalisation.
