This sounds like a joke contribution, but did once meet Jack Dee (comedian) when his dog peed on my coat.
I was in a park in south London (two decades ago) playing frisbie with a couple of friends. We had piled our coats up on the floor and along came the dog to c*ck it's leg and do the business. Jack was very apologetic about it. (For years I thought it might be mentioned in one of his comedy routines, but it never was).

on a flight from paris to new york in 74? the pilot told the folks on the plane that muhammed ali was on board and was going to walk thru cattle class to greet people
i have never seen before nor since the sheer magnitude of his hands as he shook mine
I can't think of any who I just bumped into, but I did go backstage to meet Marcus Roberts (jazz pianist) in the early 90s after his album "Deep in the Shed" came out. I highly recommend his composition "Nebuchadnezzar" from that album.
That evening he played a number of pieces with commentary in-between, so it was a mix of concert and lecture. Very nice.
One of my brothers got to meet Al Stewart after a show, and one of my older relatives has had several chance encounters with celebrities, including Red Skelton, Eddie Murphy, and Vincent Price. He and his wife were friends with someone close to Lance Burton (magician), and they were invited to the 60th Birthday Party for (the now late) Roy Horn of Siegfried and Roy. Of course there were stuffed white tigers as part of the centerpieces at the tables.

Ditto Frank Bruno - impossible to shake hands properly with him, his
hand just swallowed mine up. I've heard that Sonny Liston had the
biggest hands of any boxer, imagine that, a fist bigger than Ali's!

But no boxer or almost anybody for that matter had/has a bigger "Ego" than Ali. π€
A close friend of mine is a Dr. med. who worked in a Swiss skiing village. A patient with a minor injury introduced himself to her as "Lichtenstein." Just "Lichtenstein." Yes, that Lichtenstein, Prince Hans-Adam II, head of state and figurative owner of the country.
