I bumped into Bill Clinton after his presidency.
Ricky Martin (Singer)
Bill Murray...Murrey? (Actor)
John Candy (Actor)
The black dude from the movie "From dusk till dawn" (Actor)
I walked into a music video production of "The Moffits" where they were running down the street while girls chased them and they didn't stop filming so maybe I am in that video. (Will check later)
I went to my favourite CD/music store and security had everyone blocked outside but I walked in because they must have thought I worked there and I bumped into Rob Zombie the heavy Metal artist/movie director.
And now the last one...
The one that hurts.
I am good with actors names when I see them on TV or in movies but I failed this one.
My girl went into an antique store but I waited outside.
He comes walking up the street and I say...
"Hey you're that guy!"
He says...
"Who's that then?"
I didn't know π
My girl walks out of the antique shop and I say...
"Hey I just met...π€..."
I looked in his direction and he was gone.
We walked to the corner and looked and he was gone.
It was David Patrick Kelley.
Not a huge actor...
He was in 48 hours with Nick Nolty and Eddie Murphy.
K-pax with Kevin Spacey.
The Longest yard with Adam Sandler and Burt Reynolds.
Many other movies.
I’ve met Prince Charles a couple of times and I caddied for James Hunt (British world racing driver champ) at Sunningdale in a round against Roger Walters (Pink Floyd).
I‘ve also sat next to Julie Walters in a cafe in Guildford and ignored Vanessa Feltz in the cafe at Chessington Zoo.
Most impressively (to me) I’ve served Barbera Bach and Ringo Starr with a large purchase of underwear and socks in a Burtons menswear store when I worked there in the early 80s. She was about 37 and utterly stunning. I remember looking across the store and saying to a colleague “look at that guy, who does he think he is, Ringo Starr!?” Then he and Barbera walked up to the pay desk...
I met Woody Strode, who was in the film The Professionals and played the part of the Ethiopian King in The Ten Commandments. I was twelve and my mother used to visit his wife who attended our church.
I met Richie Havens at a very small, slightly publicized concert at the university for which I worked. I had no idea who he was but when I told my husband at the time that I had free tickets, we dropped whatever was planned for that night and coerced a babysitter. There were less than twenty people there so I actually got to meet and talk to him.
I stumbled into the filming of The Legend of Bagger Vance and saw Matt Damon but had to climb a light post to get a photo because of the crowd of teenage girls who had swarmed around him.
Vivienne Westwood. She was a neighbour of a client I was visiting and popped over to bring him some flowers. (She had a black eye at the time having been recently mugged at the underground station).
I served Frank Zappa petrol. His minder was driving the beat up old car he favoured. They came in through the out entrance but I didn't ask if that was simply about Americans driving in England! Maybe that was why the car was dented??
I went to Uni near Hampstead and the heath was a good place to spot minor celebrities.
John Mills
Janet Street-Porter
Esther Ransom
The first mate from "The Onedin Line"
Used to drink in the same pub as Steve Davis.
And I've met Frank Bruno a few times and Princess Anne handed me my degree.

I regret that day π
Who have you bumped into?
Did you say 'excuse me' when you bumped into these people?
