I'm a very good cook.

I only say this because not only does my food taste good but people tell me so.
They are not fake people so if it's bad they say so. (Very rare it's bad...like twice in 3 years)

I enjoy constructive criticism so the aren't afraid to say when it's bad or what could have made it better.

Anyways...

My stews suck.

Ya it's healthy and hearty with lots of vegetables and meat and good stuff but I can't make the flavor "Pop" or stand out when I do a stew.

My meals have a massive amount of flavor but my Stews are always sort of bland.

Tonight was chicken stew.

Looking for seasoning advice or prep advice.

Stew always tastes better on day 2 or day 3 so maybe make it and let it sit overnight?

Try adding some tomato paste and some soya sauce, to any stew.

Put in a couple of whole jalapenos, you can remove them before serving.
I like Sciracha hot sauce. It's about half the heat of jalapenos and has some good garlic flavor.

@Lipareeno

Are you over-brazing the meat? It should be soft and not done enough to eat before adding to pot.
Also, add the juices in the fry pan into the mix, too

I'm good with the meat and everything tastes good but all together it blands out a bit.

I'm thinking more garlic and more peppers.
I have all of the ingredients that everyone suggested so I just need a better recipe.

Except for that Marmite fellow. Good God that's disgusting.

I use Sriracha on noodles and I love it.
A bit too spicy for the misses though.

Try adding a little more pepper, stock, and tomato purée.
