I've recently got a 5 month old female cat. She seems to be very curious about different sorts of food. Her favourite food appears to be: 1) yoghurt; 2) ham; and 3) roast chicken. But I wondered, is it good to feed yoghurt and ham to cats (I assume that roast chicken is OK)? Could someone give me some advice on feeding cat?

Originally posted by kyueI believe cats are very sensitive to sodium, so perhaps ham might not be best.

You shouldn't feed ham or cheese to cats, nor should you feed them chocolate or onions. To a greater or less extent such foodstuffs will make them ill, sick, or give you bad poo to clean up.

Yes, there's certainly plenty of roasted chicken roaming about in the wild! lol.
P.S. Roast chicken aren't roaming about in the wild, unfortunately.
Originally posted by bambeeDo you find that after feeding your cats milk they become a bit sluggish and sleepy? That's what happened to my cat who was a bit of a milkaholic. We stopped giving her milk and after a day or two she had much more energy and was jumping around everywhere.

Also, on catfood. You should feed your cats the dry food with some water on the side. The wet stuff in tins makes them have hairballs.
