There is bad people in every group of race or religion.
(Apart from that, I strongly disagree with the idolatry, particularly of Mary, the simony of indulgences, and the general preference of mumbo-jumbo over actual Christianity. But those are merely wrong, not necessarily evil.)

The post that was quoted here has been removedI always wondered why it was and probably still is that the powers that be in any religious organization seem to, until there are "leaks", coverup the "wrongdoings" of their subordonates. The wrongdoers are taken out of active duty (sometimes) and shipped off to a desk job in some remote region or even worse sent off to another church/synagogue/temple/etc. where they're not known. Why, when it's first discovered that there are some "issues", do they not tell the "proper" authorities and have it dealt with? It's kind of a rhetorical question really. The truth eventually comes out and "normal" punishments are meated out, reparations paid yada, yada, yada. Yet it still goes on. Weird or what? (and I don't mean William Shatners either).
