lost my cell phone (mobile for y'all across the pond) in a snowbank in January, just found it today after the spring thaw revealed its hiding place in my backyard. I let it dry for awhile, now I'm charging it. this thing appears none the worse for wear after three months submersion, battery included

I'll let you know how it goes

update:
the thing's fully charged and operational, all the photos on it (irreplaceable) are in great shape
I'm impressed
Both of my kids have left their ipods in their pockets and went throught the washer and drier. One came out alright and the other one didn't....no particular reason why.
Originally posted by mlpriorGood to know....my first Sprint phone shorted out just by handling it with wet, sweaty hands. That was a Samsung.

all I'd have to do to use it is is call my carrier and have them reactivate it. it's an older model but I really like it better than the new one
it's a good back up in case I lose one next winter
I've put two phones through the washer in years past 😕
