macguffin raised the point in one of his replies on computer
assistance that players fortunate enough to hold an official grade in
chess should declare that grade with the honour that it deserves!!!not
all of us here have had the time to be involved in organised chess to
obtain an official grade.im sure that players with those grades will be
treated with high respect here. regardless of their redhot pawn rating!!
a redhot pawn rating here doesnt count for much! a local chess champ
i know has a redhot pawn rating of 1000 here after resigning games
due to personal circumstances. a high rating here could just indicate
that the nick "has time to play"or joined at the beginning! maybe
upon joining a player with such a grade could apply to redhotpawn and
have a redhot pawn rating granted to reflect such a grade ?????????
