Strange that at this time of year (especially in the Northern Hemisphere) people would voluntarily submit to societal compulsions to add more things to their to-do lists when we would all probably benefit more from everyone taking a break from the arbitrary templates and hibernating for a while.
Inasmuch as you seem to lack social intelligence (except to whatever extent it serves your goals as a sociopath), may I suggest that next time around you broach the topic a few months in advance with the people who might be most disturbed by your disruption of their familiar traditions? Maybe also offer to meet up sometime before or after the holidays and honestly explain that you could use a rest at the end of the year.
