Cribbage

Does anybody else here like to play Cribbage? I just learned on Monday at summer school (I'm helping teach the Chess class, but there's a free hour in between classes), and I'm hooked. I've had a board at my house for years, but never learned how to play. It's very strategic as far as card games go.

Cribbage is a great game. I learned it in my mid-twenties. A friend of mine who worked on the same drilling rig taught me on our days off. We would spend many an hour smoking weed, drinking beer and pegging. Have you ever gotten a 29 point hand?

Nice GS! I've never scored a 29 but the friend I mentioned has scored two of them on me. A bit like being hit by lightning twice.

Enjoy your new foud game my friend. I wonder if it is available on-line?

Back in younger years, I won a hat and one of those huge pictures of draft beer, at a cribbage tournament they had a bar we use to go to, and play pool, darts, and yes Cribbage.

Oh the young wild days, and the memories. 😉
