She has had a long history of making rape/abuse accusations against people, going back to her early teens. Previously the police turned her away as being a crank because her stories were so ridiculous. Her story this time was just as absurd, but a predatory DA thought he could get some press coverage out of it even though it was obvious from the start that there was something wrong with the case. Nifong's career will be over, hopefully.
She spent a little time in the Navy, got kicked out after two years for being a problem they didn't want. Even at the strip club she worked at she had a reputation as being trouble, nobody liked her. The media refered to her as a "law school student". hahahahahahaaaaaaaaa.
If this woman was known to be a cry wolf person then why wasn't something done about it so she got the help she obviously needed .... before these young men were subjected to the "labels" they were given?
Not sure if announcing her name on here is getting the attention you would like it to Sasquatch, and whilst I can sort of see your point, there are probably some underlying reasons for her behaviour, and no i am not justifying her actions far from it, I still think your views are yours, and maybe not everyone agrees with the way you have done your post and the way you have formed your opinions.I cant imagine what the families of these young men have gone through for the last year...probably pretty hellish.

Not that I am condoning the behaviour of this particular woman, but I'm not sure why the case deserves posting on a chess site forum either.
