From what I've heard Andy was a pretty good player when he played. I don't believe him and I ever played a game were too busy bantering, but Phlabs said he was a good player, so I take his word on it. goads record speaks for itself. I would sooner someone with a higher rating then both of them to be my mentor if I was looking for one. We've had some fun games torumn, you are a lot better than you were a few years back, or I'm worst. Lets go with your better!!!! 😉

I am going to tell you one thing I saw in our games, when you think you've found a good move, look for a better one. It will improve your games. We have had games where you didn't play your best move that would have had me in trouble, you've won games where I missed it coming. I am just talking about this past year that I've found your games stronger and really have to pay close attention to what you are doing as you appear to be looking a few moves deep into the game now.

I know very little about chess, just go by what I see. I have never had any ambition to go further or learn more. My grandson introduced me to RHP and then he left RHP and chess, leaving me scared stiff in my first game here, many years ago now. 🙂 Thanks, it's good advice.
