Actually more like this. Only thing in common beetwen classical accordion and accordion is the name, nothing more. Good example

Does sign "FRAGILE" mean "throw harder" for airport employes ?!?

And yes, ironically flying company it is not responsible for damages over 500 $. Nice.

😠
So you've got an accordion that's worth over $5000?

Just how rich are you?

It is worth 12000 euro. Not really an accordion. It is called bayan or classical accordion, you can play from Bach complicated orgelworks through classical and romanticall compositions (transcribed) until avantgard XX. century classic music Difficult to explain though.

It evolved from russian accordion into classical instrument, also academic, you can even go postgraduate in academies like Royal Academy in London, Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Moscow Academies etc....

Usually accordion is synonim for folk music but it not so. I do not know to play folk music at all.

Accordion and classical accordion don't have much in common.

It lacks some crucial information, but it is more close. I thought about publishing wikipedia article but I lack some serious English language knowledge.

Can't you write it in your own language? wikipedia has a bunch of languages to choose from. Dunno how they handle translations.

What do you think of Teodoro Anzellotti? Do you know if he plays a conventional accordian?

I really like the 5 or 6 cd's I have with him.

That was Myron Floren's signature accordion piece when he was with Lawrence Welk. He rocked.

Even if you carry your instrument on board it's not always safe from harm - my skin flute got damaged when we hit turbulence and the hostess spilled hot coffee in my lap.
