I wonder, is there a limit to how many "alerts" you can do? Can you be banned for "alert" abuse?

That is a good Mod Question.

I would say Yes you could if you are alerting and it is obviously not something that should not have been alerted. (Keeping in mind it is mod discretion)

In my case all of the Alerts were actually removed, it was just that the Mods assumed I was trying to show them up, or being a butthead, and that really wasn't the case, but I could see how they could assume that, to be honest about it.
