My eyes welled up when I read the text from a friend telling me, which doesn't happen to me often. In 2008 I had such a vivid dream that he'd died that I woke up in the night and made a compilation tape before I realized he hadn't died. I never listened to it till yesterday. Life On Mars, Sweet Thing > Candidate > Sweet Thing, Lady Grinning Soul, Five Years, Sons Of The Silent Age, After All, Golden Years, Wild Is The Wind, Lady Stardust, God Knows I'm Good, Teenage Wildlife, Look Back In Anger, Always Crashing In The Same Car, Helden. I have been under his spell since I was 10 years old. His music has been part of the stitching almost my entire life.

Yup, a cliché. Desperation to be witty included.

Congratulations. You're the poster child of internet stereotypes.

I only really liked one album of Bowie that being the Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

And you worship all Metallica albums to point of obsession.

Dude I was into real metal when Di'Anno used to front Maiden, not some pansy boy band from L.A. 😛
