Deep thinking is over rated, results in dissalusionment and depession. You won't solve anything or realise something you missed before, sometimes there really is no spoon.

There is only one solution for that. Think deeper.

No. Not with what's on my mind. Really, sometimes it's best to just leave tyhings, sometimes there isn't a right or a wrong.

I guess it depends on what you're talking about, so what is it?

Leave thinking to the horses, they have the bigger heads!

This is what my Dad told me.(my translation)

Schwäbisch: Überlasses denka dae Pferd, die haen d' greesere Kepf.
Deutsch: Überlasse das Denken den Pferden, die haben die größeren Köpfe.

Cool.

I have a copy of 'Max & Moritz' in about a dozen different German dialects. Extremely difficult to read, I imagine they'd be virtually unintelligible to a second-language listener.

I know it as "Das Denken sollte man den Pferden überlassen".

Since you gents happen to know German, could you please remind me what the winning word was on the US National Spelling Bee about a year and a half ago? It was a word from the German language and it started with the letters "VE . . . ."

It meant the "pain" (I think) that comes from realizing the difference between reality and what "could be" (or something like that).

Thanks for your help, if I'm making any sense at all. I just thought that it was a great word at the time, but I've forgotten it, and Google Language Translator hasn't been any help to me yet.
